Stop 6 on the 2024 Bonnechere Valley Inspired Tour
This lovely farmstead was established in the late 1800s. The original house is still standing and purchasing the property in 2013, Greg and Michelle constructed a new and colourful home.
The farm was previously used for cattle but the Parsons now use it as a market garden.
Tour the vegetable and flower gardens, watch the horses graze on pasture, check out the laying hens (fresh brown eggs for sale), see if you can spot
birds and wildlife in the creek and beaver pond. Hike a short trail to a viewing spot on a rocky knoll overlooking the beaver pond.
